It’s going on month two since I’ve started exercising heavily, and just acting a fool on the elliptical. I decided to share with you my favorite protein smoothie recipe. Usually I don’t do this , but in order for my hair to be as long and beautiful as I dream , I have to take care of my body inside as well.
GNC Total Lean Vanilla Bean Protein ( 2 scoops )
100% Natural Honey
Vanilla Almond Milk Unsweetened (8oz)
Blend all together in your blender.
This is also a meal replacement. You can drink two in a day, and pick if you will have a meal for breakfast , lunch or dinner. Happy Exercising !
Here is a quick recipe for you all using the GNC Total Lean Chocolate Swiss Shake mix. These shakes are actually meal replacements, and even come with a small brochure with ways to get the full potential of the shake. You can lose a nice amount of weight with these, and if that is not your intentions they’re good for you. The Vanilla Bean is one of the ones I bought for my first round, and it is delicious! I don’t mix mine with water, I use unsweetened almond milk, and or coconut flavored almond milk. Some of the recipes I will be trying calls for chocolate soy milk, and other flavors. mmmm!
These shakes taste seriously like something you’d get out of DQ , and or at the local icecream shop. With that being said here’s one of my favorite morning ones that I got from a fellow blogger. Enjoy!
Moko Choka Latte:
2 scoops of swiss chocolate GNC total shake
1.5 cups of skim milk, or almond milk
Coffee to taste (1/2 cup or so- don’t put in too much)
5-6 ice cubes
Blend to smooth
Makes about 16oz
I just had to come on and tell y’all how my bodyrocking is going. I’m officially done with my 30 day challenge and look Great! Like for real, I’m smoking! I really recommend you to give it a try,come on it’s only 12 minute exercises that you do once a day for five days out the week,with Saturday and Sundays being your rest days.Now out of those five days, a few are yoga days, so you’re not doing the same thing over and over. Here’s a pic of me now
Yes! I’m too happy. I would like to give extra applause to the sandbag and squats. You two are the best! Hope this motivate you all to give it a try. Also,remember you don’t have to stop eating all the foods you like to lose weight,just eat smaller portions and cut back on sweets.
As promised I’m posting pictures of my progress. So far It’s honestly going well. I’m excited to workout everyday , and even started doing morning runs. I notice that I’m not as tired and worn out as I use to be either. I feel healthier, and much happier. Everyone keeps saying I wasn’t big in the first place, but to me I honestly was . The workouts are twelve minutes, but they do so much.
I eat clean, and reward myself with a pop or soda once a day. I couldn’t take that away, so I found a way to drink one still. Hey! Don’t judge me! My water intake is only up to 4 16oz bottles a day, I can’t get it any higher than that. Here’s a picture of a dinner I had the other night. It was broccoli and cheese, quinoa, and baked tilapia nuggets.

I’m coming to ya with an update on how my exercise challenge is going. I’ve completed a week, and let me say I can actually see results. Now each workout is only 12 minutes long, but you can feel it working. The sandbag lifting exercises are my favorites now. I love the squatting, only because I get a rush when I feel the burn. I started at 141, and now I’m 139. Great results right! I just can’t wait to see myself at the end of the thirty days. Well wish me luck !
I’m on Day 3 now, and let me tell you, lifting that sandbag of 40lbs was no joke! Lifting and bending, and all those pushups almost drove me to quitting right in the middle of the workout. Happy to say I didn’t! I rocked that workout. My husband even said he can see a difference in my tummy. Now mind you I started dieting two weeks before this BodyRocking. I think that you all should really try it instead of the Jillian Michael’s dvds, the results I see from people on YouTube are fantastic.

Now, if you don’t wanna spend $99.00 on The Racks All In One you can go to the Goodwill and buy a walker. Lol! Yes, seriously it does the same thing. I like to save money, trust me I use coupons for everything so anyone that Bodyrocks knows you also need a sandbag. Instead of spending anywhere from $39.99 to $119.00 you can make your own like I did by using the rice and wrapping it in duct tape to secure the bags. The duffle bag will be what you will use to hold the rice in for lifting, do like I did and take off the shoulder strap and just use the hand one. I will be writing in this section of the blog as much as I can to keep you all updated , and post pics at the end of each week. Don’t be too shy to send me some words of encouragement people. My goal is to be 125 by November 24,2012. Can I do it? YES I CAN!!! I will be attaching pictures of the equipment below and of me now. Tomorrow will be my day one, and maybe I’ll even attach workout clips if I don’t look too much like a punk!
